Can you believe six new shows are coming to your Mzansi Magic screens this month? Leave the fights for the remote in 2021 and make sure you livestream on the DStv app because missing your fab shows is so last year.

The Republic S2 – Starts Sunday, 02 January at 20:00

Renowned actress Bonnie Mbuli joins the star-studded cast of The Republic as the hit political thriller returns for season 2. Viewers can also look forward to new plot twists as crime thriller Mzali Wam’ returns for its second season in the new year.

 

Mzali Wam S2 – Starts Monday, 03 January at 20:00

In season 2 of Mzali Wam’, Ntokozo and Joyce return home to start their new lives as mother and daughter. While they do receive a warm welcome, does this signal happily ever after? 

The cast includes Lungelo Mpangase ,who reprises her role as Ntokozo, award winner Lusanda Mbane (as Joyce), Nolwazi Shange (The River)  who plays Sibongile, Dumisani Mbebe ,back as the villainous and aptly named Terror, Oros Mampofu (GrassrootsIgazi), who plays Musa and Loyiso McDonald (The Queen) who plays Lungelo.

 

Ingane Yam S2 – Starts Tuesday, 04 January at 20:00

Hosted by Real Housewives of Durban star and entrepreneur Laconco Conco, Ingane Yam’ tells the stories of people who would like to introduce their ‘illegitimate’ children to their families or partners. Season 2 features new, often intense and sometimes shocking stories of hidden children who desire a sense of belonging. 

 

Mnakwethu Happily Ever After S2Starts Wednesday 05 January at 20:00

On #MnakwethuHEA, the spin-off from #MnakwethuMzansi, follow the couples that asked for Musa Mseleku’s help in building their polyagamous marriages. Have the marriages survived the addition of new wives? Will there be new couples added to season 2? Tune in to find out!

 

The Ranakas S5 – Starts Thursday 06 January at 20:00

The bold, relatable and lovable multigenerational entertainment family continue to share their lives with us, with storylines including Ntate Ranaka’s search for his sister, Mama Ranaka adapting thefamily business during Covid times, Manaka continuing her journey into farming and Dineo choosing to take on more backseat position  in the family.
