She is headstrong, opinionated, brutally honest and self-confident – MaCele may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Some may be intimidated by her big personality while some have always loved how she is true to herself in all situations.

However, there is one thing no one can deny about MaCele – she loves unconditionally; whether it’s her husband Musa or her stepchild Sne and her children. This is why Mzansi is enamoured with Mrs Mseleku!

  1. She loves Sne unconditionally

Sne was already twelve years-old when MaCele joined the Mseleku homestead but she has always taken her as her own child. Where Sne and Mthombeni’s relationship is strained, MaCele begs, pleads and prays on Sne’s behalf.

Her relationship with Sne is so strong that she is able to confide things to MaCele that she would never be able to tell anyone else.

  1. She loves Thando unconditionally

Although MaCele has children of her own already, her heart is big enough to take in more. Not only does she love Sne unconditionally, but she also loves Sne first born daughter, Thando as her own grandchild making sure she lacks for nothing. When Sne moved out of Sea Park where MaCele lives, not only did MaCele make a special request to take in Thando but she also went as far as tracking down Sne and fetching Thando herself.

Her love for Thando has even convinced her husband to finally accept Thando not just as his grandchild but as his child, who he will now do anything and everything for.

  1. She made sure Thando also got a birthday party

When MaNgwabe threw a birthday party for her daughters Mawande and Owami, MaCele made sure that there was also a cake for Thando because in a polygamous marriage, all the children must be treated the same. It was lovely to see MaNgwabe and Mseleku also on board with the addition to the birthday party.
