Hoping for a reunion

Mzansi was rooting for Nthabiseng, a young lady who had not seen her father since her mother's funeral. She was a bright lady who was getting ready to embark on a new journey as a makoti and needed her father by her side.

Nthabiseng thought her stepmother was a negative influence on her father who had since abandoned her. She would often mention that her father was not even her biological father during heated arguments, making her believe that she was just a jealous woman who wanted her father all to herself. She was hopeful that they would be able to reunite once she reached out to her father.

DNA test shocker 

However, Nthabiseng was met with disappointing news when a DNA test conducted by the show proved that he was in fact not her father. It quickly turned into an episode of Utatakho and brought a whirlwind of emotions for Nthabiseng. 

Mzansi empathised with her as they realised that she would never know who her real father was and who truly needed a visit from Phumeza and the team. See the touching moment here:
