Mzansi Magic’s Unrestricted Bold Sessions set to rock SA this festive season!

10 December 2015

Mzansi Magic in association with Carling Blue Label beer have announced a trio of events set to take place across South Africa this festive season in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town respectively. The Unrestricted Bold Sessions will serve as a celebration of SAB’s new premium beer launch, Carling Blue Label beer.

Mzansi Magic’s Head of Marketing, Victor Koaho commented on what patrons can expect at the events, “Carling Blue Label beer is clearly a bold brand and Mzansi Magic is known to bring fans the best events over holiday periods, so it’s a perfect match. Visitors can expect the hottest parties on the calendar this festive season – the awesome lineup speaks for itself, and we’re taking it to the next level in terms of the experience on offer.”

The first event will take place at Johannesburg’s The Sands venue, with Uhuru and Khuli Chana mashing up house and hip hop as headline acts on Wednesday, 16 December. Other stellar performances on the day include: Monique Bingham with a 10-piece band, DJs Major League, Shimza and various others, live this Reconciliation Day at the popular Sandton hot spot.

The Durban leg takes place on Sunday, 20 December at the famous Go Wild, Wavehouse venue at the city’s Gateway Theatre of Shopping. This session will see Black Motion, Dream Team and NaakMusiq fuse together as the headliners, but the list gets hotter when we join: Black Coffee with a band, WTF, DJs Sphe and Naves, Benny Maverick and various others.

Cape Town comes alive on Sunday, 31 January 2016 when the Unrestricted Bold Sessions take over the Mother City.

Carling’s General Manager, Vijay Govindsamy said this move by Carling had been made after they were certain that they could deliver an exceptional product which would be distinctive and yet retain the qualities of the country’s most globally awarded beer, “We have created our first single malt beer that is exceptionally made and provides a richly rewarding experience for anyone wanting to make a bold choice.”

“This beer is brewed for those who are unafraid of doing things first, and who are bold enough to try new experiences. Those who learn, explore the world and create new things – a perfect partner for these bold events,” concluded Govindsamy.

Gates open at 12PM for all events and early bird tickets are currently on sale for R 100 at Computicket, and for R 150 once sold out. Follow the conversation on Twitter: Mzansi Magic or #UBS2015.
