Three of Mzansi Magic’s flagship shows made a clean sweep at the 10th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), this weekend. The awards were held over two days (Friday and Sunday) 20 and 22 March, 2015 at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg.
After scoring an impressive 10 nominations, Isibaya collected seven gongs, including the hotly contested ‘Best Soap’ award at the show, hosted in honour of the cream of the television crop.

Other shows that hoisted the Mzansi Magic flag high are Clash Of the Choirs SA and Rockville. Clash of the Choirs SA won the ‘Best International Format Show’ award, while Rockville’s Brenda Ngxoli won the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award for her role as Gladys.
