It has been almost a year since DiepCity hit Mzansi screens and swept viewers away. The audience loves how the telenovela brings people of different cultures together in "Sloot" as the residents of DiepCity affectionately call it. The first DiepCity wedding was no different. It brought together the love of Bafana, a Zulu man for Lerato, a Sotho girl with a community of people representing almost all the cultures in South Africa including SePedi, isiXhosa, Shona and TsiVhenda just to name a few.

To see Lerato in the traditional Zulu attire was to see a vision. The Sotho-Zulu bride stole the show and Mzansi hearts. Also a favourite with viewers was the singing of traditional wedding songs at the wedding and the celebration of the beauty of our African weddings. But don't take our word for it, see what viewers loved here:

Stay tuned to #DiepCity every Monday to Friday at 20:30 for more of the love, passion, action and drama.
