Margaret and Michael’s story is one of those that warm one’s heart in so many ways. The couple met way back in the 1990’s at a bus stop.

Michael operated a stall at the bus stop and on the day he first met Margaret, he immediately likes her and walked up to her to find out more about her. After a brief introduction and chat, he asked if he could visit her but she refused.

Two years later, they met again at the same spot and that’s when he told her how he felt about her. Margaret wasn’t too sure about this at first but she changed her mind after some time, when he was able to prove that he cared about her.

In 1996, she fell pregnant and he introduced her to his family and promised to marry her as soon as he got a job. It was only in 2013 that he found a job. They already had 2 children by then.

How he proposed:

Margaret said Michael didn’t buy a ring, but his proposal came from the heart.

Challenges:

Margaret said challenges  were mostly about future plans that were weren’t able to achieve perhaps. He set up a stall for her at the bus stop so she could also get income.

A neighbour was inspired by their love and asked if it would be alright if she could call the #OurPerfectWedding crew. They were sceptical at first but the neighbour assured them everything would be fine. Tonight, they invite you to join the friends and family, as they are joined in holy matrimony.
