Luche and Nkateko met at work in 2015 and have been inseparable since then.
She had just started working as an Admin Clerk, while he was a nurse. Nkateko was immediately attracted to the “new girl” in the office. She is pretty, so we don’t blame him, LOL!
Working closely drew them closer each day but unfortunately, she had to resign and pursue her passion in teaching. Nkateko knew she was the woman he wanted to spend his life with, that day Luche came through for him at the time he needed her most.
All this happened over an eight month period. She still wasn’t quite sure about him because she had just got out of a 10-year relationship. A simple date did the trick, for Luche soon fell in love with Nkateko thereafter.
She remembers vividly the day they started dating. It was the 14th of February, 2016. What she loves about him most is the fact that he’s very loving and supportive. Both families have had to adjust and accept their relationship though and they’re all in a good space now.
How he proposed:
Nkateko proposed in 2016. He says he’s quite the romantic but decided to propose in a simple manner. She was cooking and he was getting something from the fridge, then he asked her if she’d marry him! Luche wasn’t sure if he’s serious but then saw the ring. What a surprise!
