If you’ve ever been in love, you’ve probably experienced “The One That Got Away”. It’s a heart-rending tale as old as time, that person that stole your heart but never gave you theirs.
Most of us just let it go but a select few will go the extra mile to get back the love of their life. Just be ready for a strong reaction judging by these comments:
The chase
But there are some success stories too. Take for instance Patrick J. Adams, star of M-Net’s legal drama Suits, who admitted that his sole reason for making a guest appearance on Pretty Little Liars in 2010 was so that he could win back his then ex-girlfriend, Troian Bellisario.
Unlike most of our poor Love Back guests, the plan worked out well for Adams as the couple are now engaged.

Music star Robin Thicke wasn’t quite as cunning when trying to win back estranged wife, Paula Patton. Thicke simply did what comes naturally and released an album overtly titled Paula, which contained tracks titled “Too Little Too Late”, “Forever Love”, and “Get her back”.
Perhaps subtlety is the better option after all as Patton filed for divorce late last year.

The grand proposal
Perhaps it’s best not to wait until the relationship is on the rocks before performing a grand gesture. While we’re not suggesting you spend your life savings on a wedding proposal, perhaps we can all learn a little something from Kanye West’s proposal to Kim Kardashian.
We all know Kanye likes to go big and this was no exception. The American rapper rented out an entire baseball stadium along with a 50-piece orchestra. All of their friends and family were invited and, when the jumbo screen lit up with the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!”, Kim simply couldn’t say no.
What lenths would you go to to get, keep or get back the love of your life?
