We’re adding three incredible artists to our already stellar live results show line-up. Joining afro house stars DBNytes and swing duo Goodluck on the Idols stage this Sunday, are the Major League Djz, Riky Rick and Daniel Baron.

Riky Rick

Rapper, producer and songwriter Rikhado Makhado was first introduced to music lovers via his first single, a collaboration with DA L.E.S titled “Barbershop”. Riky then went into the studio soon after and promptly followed up with “Nafukwa” which became a huge hit. “The rapper then released his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Family Values’ which spawned smash hits “Boss Zonke” and “Sondela”, earlier this year.

Daniel Baron

Pop/rock singer Daniel Baron is one of Mzansi’s most exciting exports. After releasing his debut album, which spawned eight radio hits, the singer contributed three songs to international documentary ‘STUCK’. He released his second album in March 2015 and has continued his philanthropic efforts despite a grueling touring schedule. His ‘Rockstars Ride for CANSA’ campaign saw the star and his band ride the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge this year in efforts to raise R50 000 for the Cancer Association of South Africa.

Major League Djz

This baseball-mad twin outfit is one of the few to incorporate percussion to their deejay sets. Bandile and Bakhile were born in the United States and were invested in a future in Major League basketball. However, life had other plans. After moving back to South Africa with their parents, the brothers set their sights on entertainment. They started out hosting concert after parties and very soon, decided to tackle deejaying. Last year, the boys dominated the airwaves with their smash hit “Slyza Tsotsi” with Riky Rick, Cassper Nyovest and Okmalumkoolkat

Tune into the live results show tomorrow at 17:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) and M-Net (DStv channel 101) to see if your favourite make the cut.
