The homebrew beer competition is underway and while the competition is open to everyone, it’s really about these two queens: Khelina and Maureen
If jack of all spades was a person, it would be Khelina: Need a sangoma to go scare off your boss? Aus’ Khelz is your girl. Need someone to cover for you at work? Again…Khelina. Now she has added tavern queen to her list with the opening of her makeshift shebeen selling her homebrew beer.
No one thought Khelina’s new business would blow up as much as it has but in just a short space of time it has stolen the bulk of Maureen’s customers from her licensed tavern. Maureen thought her customers were not ntakunyisa target market, but Khelina has proven her wrong, with even the likes of Danger, the Mgedezas loyal servant want Khelina’s punch in bulk.
Maureen was left with no choice to buy into Lerato’s suggestion to leave the choice of which tavern must be left standing down to a duel. Khelina’s punch vs Maureen’s own homebrew.
It is difficult to tell who will win. Maureen has been diligent in trying different mixtures and even having her customers try it while Khelina has been trying some “interesting” measure that really err on the side of dangerous.
Luckily, it is officially game day, Khelina vs Maureen. So who are you rroting for?
