BBTitans Ipeleng veto power

As the finale creeps closer, the stakes in the Big Brother Titans house are even higher.

With no nominations this week, Head of House (HoH) winner Ipeleng was rewarded with a slot in the grand finale. As a result, she will not be nominated for eviction for the rest of the season.

As the remaining housemates – Juvone (Justin and Yvonne), Kaniva (Blue Aiva and Kanaga Jnr), Khosicle (Khosi and Miracle OP), Thabana (Thabang and Nana), Royals (Ebubu and Tsatsii) and Blaqleng (Blaqboi and Ipeleng) – were preparing for this week's HoH challenge, Biggie announced that all housemates had been unpaired.

From this moment on, #BBTitans will be a solo game. Ironically, the disbanded Blaqleng (Ipeleng and Blaqboi) fought this week for HoH honours.

During Biggie's last-ever diary session with the housemates as pairs, emotions ran high as the duos reflected on their journey as pairs. The housemates gave their final speeches, expressing gratitude and admiration for their partners.

Thabang revealed that he was feeling separation anxiety and that it would be difficult for him to let go of his partner after Thabana is over. Nana said Thabang has become the safest person in the house to run to.

Khosicle fought like a cat and a dog, but their love made it all worthwhile. Miracle OP said to his partner: "You always had my back, and I can honestly say I love this woman." Khosi said about her experience as a partner: "I think I'm ready for marriage after being a partner with Miracle OP."

To decide the winner of the HoH game, the housemates were asked to play the Supreme Veto Game. During this game all 12 remaining housemates participated, including the incumbent HoH.

In the first game, the top male player was determined, while in the second game, the top female housemate was determined by rolling balls down three perfectly aligned pipes. The goal was for the housemates to catch the ball without it falling to the ground while rolling and catching it with a single hand at the end of the pipe.

Blaqboi and Ipeleng won the first game. Ipeleng then went on to defeat Blaqboi in the second game to emerge as the winner of the HoH game of week eight.

Aside from winning immunity until the finale, Ipeleng also had the privilege of picking a partner of the opposite sex to share the HoH lounge with. Blaqboi was her instant and obvious choice.

There was a second box as part of her prize: “Take the second box with you and place it beside the HoH throne. It must not be opened until told to do so,” Biggie told Ipeleng.

Stay tuned to find out, what’s in the box as the high stakes journey towards the grand prize of US$100 000 continues.
