Who will be crowned the last ever South African Idol?
Idols Ep18 Throwforward

Judgement day is fast approaching. Vocals have been working overtime, contestants have been leaving it all on stage and now the time has come for it to end.

Come Saturday night, Mzansi will find out if Thabo or Princess walks away with the coveted prize of being the very last Idol.

The finale promises to bring the vibes and so much more. Not only is Mosaïek Teatro about to be packed with supporters and families that will be on the edge of their seats but, there will be performances and reunions that you don’t want to miss.

One of the greats that will grace the #IdolsSA stage once again is PJ Morton. His presence was so good the first time around that he has to come back with his soulful sound to leave us whole again.

Tsibipians this one is for you. Fresh from his tour and the release of his latest offering, Solomon, Cassper Nyovest is about to fill up Mosaïek Teatro. He will bring his new tune ‘018’ ft Maglera Doe Boy to the masses.

But, there’s more and you need to find out yourself on Mzansi Magic at 18:00 on Saturday.

A season of #IdolsSA could never be complete without the Wooden Mic contestants. Some of the best ones will be making their way to the stage for a special, not to be missed moment but most of all, this year’s winner will be announced.

The judges have had the heavy load of going through thousands of hopefuls that give it their best every time to make sure that the country gets the best of the best. This weekend they get to show up dressed to the nines as per usual for the last time and offer their pearls of wisdom to the winner as he/she enters the music industry.

It has been an iconic show that introduced South Africa to many uncovered artists while changing lives one season at a time. The talent has been out of this world and the amount of milestones that the winners and former contestants have achieved over the years are too many to count. The moment has come for #IdolsSA to receive its flowers one more time as we bid it farewell but also show it gratitude for the legacy that it is leaving behind.

Buckle up people, it’s about to be a very beautiful ride. Who will reign as the champion? We find out soon.

Idols SA airs this Saturday at 18:00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161), thereafter on Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163) at 19:30.
