Well, knock us over with a music feather! The Idols Season 11 Finale is shaping up to be one of the most explosive yet. Apart from the fact that for the very first time, the final will be broadcast in 5.1 surround sound, we’ve assembled a line-up of steaming hot local stars that are set to wow Mzansi and make sure that this particular live show is one to remember.

Our Top 2 finalists, Karabo and Mmatema are on course to sing duets with this season’s fallen Top 8, as well as big names Judith Sephuma and MiCasa. Check out which other guest performances you can look forward to.

Vincent Bones and Kwesta

Last season’s Idols winner, Vincent Bones, makes his eagerly-anticipated return to the stage that catapulted his career into the stratosphere, this Sunday. And he’s not coming alone. The velvet-voiced crooner is set to be joined by local hip hop star Kwesta during a performance that will see Bones perform two songs of his debut album, 'Shaded Soul', which was released in May 2015. Vincent, who has been touring the country extensively to support his debut offering, is also headed to The Lyric Theatre (Gold Reef City) this Saturday, 21 November for ‘Vincent Bones and Friends’ a celebration of South African Music. Tickets are R140 and doors open at 20:30.

Emtee and DJ Citi Lyts

Hot newcomer Emtee’s “Roll Up” is certainly one of the front-runners for 2015’s ‘Hip Hop Song of the Year’. Whether it be in the club, at the office or in your car, we’re sure you’ve tapped your foot, courtesy of that thumping bass.

Nakhane Toure and Somizi

Nakhane Toure worked with the legendary Black Coffee on smash hit, “We Dance Again”, which he will perform live on the Idols stage. The track recently sparked the viral #WeDanceAgainChallenge that had house music and soul fanatics from all over the globe, showing off their fleet-footed dance moves. This Sunday, Nakhane will be hitting the stage to perform this song, with the help of one of our judges, Somizi.

MiCasa needs no introduction! As one of the premiere house bands in the country, these talented musicians have won hearts and then some, with their unique sound. Consisting of three members – J’Something, Dr Duda and Mo-T, MiCasa continues to lead the way where music is concerned. This Sunday, the group will be performing their brand new smash, “Chocolat”, before vocalist J’Something duets with Mmatema. The two are set to sing Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrel’s “Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing”.

Judith Sephuma

Our incredible guest star lineup wouldn’t be complete without she of the beautiful voice, jazz and Afro-pop’s Judith Sephuma. Her debut album ‘A Cry, A Smile, A Dance’ became an instant classic when it was released a couple of years ago. That was followed by sophomore more effort ‘New Beginnings’, that also made waves. This Sunday, Judith will join forces with Top 2 finalist, Karabo for George Michael and Aretha Franklin’s “I Knew You Were Waiting”.

Watch Idols on M-Net and Mzansi Magic on Sundays at 17:00. It will also be available on DStv Catch Up once the show has aired.
