The trope of the the bridezilla has become all too commonplace. In fact, it's expected that a bride-to-be is going to be a fragile bundle of nerves or a fire-breathing dragon in the weeks and days leading up to her wedding. Her family will walk on eggshells around her, carefully measuring their words so as not to rouse her anger. Her vendors will bend over backwards, being patient, long-suffering and acquiescent as she changes her mind the umpteenth time about something had absolutely loved just days ago.
So it's very surprising to find an agreeable bride. A bride that's all smiles and bursts with joy at the coming together of every aspect of her wedding. This bride with a sunny disposition and not a bridezilla bone in her body was Bongiwe. Nothing could get her down, and there was nothing she could pick apart.
She bounced with joy at the sight of her cake, gasped in absolute glee when her cake was presented to her, and glided through her wedding day without a single worry line.
