Mzansi Magic Sundays will never be the same again with The Republic taking over the 20:00 slot. A gripping story following President Mulaudzi, South Africa’s first democratically elected woman president in the story, and her quest to fight corruption and fulfil the promises she has made to her people.

Fighting the good fight is not easy and in the first episode we saw President Mulaudzi kidnapped by rebels in Soshanguve. A coup in Mzansi? Que drama, action, twists and turns, deal cutting and pseudo political reality like you’ve never seen before.
