Some housemates experienced feelings of betrayal, as if they've been stabbed in the back.

When Biggie said this season would be about chaos and destruction, we had no idea that the concept of 'the dagger' would be introduced during the live eviction shows on Sundays. During the second housemate eviction, Biggie introduced a twist where evicted housemates were granted the power to cast a metaphorical dagger at one of their former housemates, unleashing a series of entertaining punishments and banter.

Pale strikes first

The inaugural dagger was flung by Pale, targeting Liema with precision. Liema's punishment? A comedic yet demanding task of caring for a shoe baby, complete with crying sound effects orchestrated by Biggie. This baby, named Baby Scathulo by Twitter and Baby JJ (Jareed Junior ) by his mama, setting the stage for a series of hilarious trials and tribulations. Jareed denied paternity and Young Pappi claimed to be the real daddy.

The second round of daggers

Meelay's dagger found its mark in Jareed, driven by a desire to move his attention away from her fellow housemates Els and Liema. Jareed found himself donning a maid's uniform, relegated to the humbling and time-consuming tasks of cleaning and dishwashing under Biggie's watchful eye.

Taki's aim landed squarely on Makhekhe, subjecting him to a unique form of communication through song. Makhekhe's vocal talents were put to the test as he navigated conversations with melodic finesse for two days. He had incredible fun making up tunes as he went and did not shy away from singing.

Willy became the unwitting recipient of Chuenzaaa's dagger, adorned with a makeshift ensemble of a box top and traffic cone for a hat.

Mich's dagger flew towards Sinaye, compelling him to unleash his inner animal with every speaking attempt. Despite the challenge, Sinaye embraced the task with humour and resilience, refusing to let the unconventional punishment stifle his voice. In retrospect, he realised how much talking he does in the house based on how many animal sounds he made in the duration of his punishment.

Els and Jareed's parting shots

As eviction night unfolded, Els and Jareed seized their final opportunities to cast their daggers. Els directed her punishment towards Young Pappi, while Jareed singled out Yolanda, each driven by personal grievances of nomination. Young Pappi's punishment was to wear a snorkeling mask and massage the feet of all the housemates, although the demand for this service was not high. Yolanda's punishment was to wear her clothes inside out, mismatched socks and shoes, and baby a cactus.

Lerato Modise and Young Pappi's love daggers

The climax of dagger drama arrived with the evictions of Lerato Modise and Young Pappi. In an unexpected turn, they targeted their partners or 'homie' and 'very good friend', PapaGhost and Zee, respectively. Despite the unconventional nature of their choices, Biggie orchestrated punishments that added a whimsical twist to their bond. PapaGhost and Zee are required to wear clown costumes and at the sound of circus music, juggle balls and bowling pins for two days. Zee was happy to be challenged on the first day but she was over it by the next. In the diary room, Zee said she was expecting the dagger to he handed to her but PapaGhost took it a bit personal, citing feelings of being stabbed in the back.
