Day 54: Five things we’ve learnt from the Housemates – BBMzansi

News
18 March 2022
We have spent close to three months with the Housemates and in that time we have learnt quite a few things from them.
Two Friends sitting and chatting

Friends at first sight

The Housemates have shown us that you are able to form connections instantly, at first sight. Some of the friendships in the House were instant and have survived Wager Tasks, Friday Night Games, Saturday Night Parties, Alliance Corners, and Evictions.

The strategy is always changing

Most of the  Housemates came in with a set strategy but being in the House and experiencing the others has made them change their strategies as they go. They are constantly updating Biggie in their Diary sessions.

It’s important to be yourself

Being true to the core essence of yourself has been very important in the House. There are a lot of things that happen and because they encounter people from different walks of life, it’s important not to get lost in the sauce and remind themselves why they are there.

It’s actually a game

It’s very easy to get hurt by the things people say in the House and to get distracted by alliances that end up forming. The challenge is that if you have spent so much time with people, you will be affected by the things they do, but the Housemates always remember that they are here to win and play for R2 million, and there can only be one winner.

You can find love anywhere

Love is everywhere and by the looks of things, it’s even in Biggie’s House. Sometimes you may have to kiss six people to find the one, some people may have had to be evicted for other to realise the one has been right under their nose the whole time, and that too is okay. Ships are sailing and following a steady course, with no storms ahead.

What are some of the lessons you’ve learnt from the Housemates?
