The Housemates were surprised with a last-minute Johnnie Walker Task. The Head of House, Sis Tamara read out the rules. Biggie grouped Yoli, Tulz, Mpho, Gash1, and Zino because they’d expressed they didn’t want alcohol. The rest of the House area had to pick between three fruits to determine which group they’d end up on.
The Housemates freshened up and made their way to the Arena where they stood in front of the Mixologist table. The Mixologist told the Housemates he would be teaching them how to make three cocktails, that are simple with advanced elements.
These cocktails are perfect for a hot summer's day.
Johnnie and Ginger Highball
Ingredients
Lots of ice (ice keeps ice cold)
Double shot of Johnnie Walker Black
Ginger Ale
Ginger
Method
You put lots of ice in a glass, add a double shot of your Johnnie, top it off with ginger ale, give it a stir, always taste your drink and top it off with more ice so that you can place your garnish on it. Cut up pieces of ginger for the garnish. This cocktail will keep the flu away and the honey is in the whisky.
Tip: Add a single shot of ginger syrup (25ml), a single shot of lemon (to balance), and enjoy!
Johnnie and Lemon Highball

Double shot of Johnnie Walker Black
Lemonade

Method
You put lots of ice in a glass, add a double shot of your Johnnie, top it off with lemonade, give it a stir, always taste your drink and top it off with more ice so that you can place your garnish on it. Cut up pieces of lemon into a half-moon for the garnish. Make sure you slap your mint to activate the flavour and add it to your drink.

You put lots of ice in a glass, add a double shot of your Johnnie, top it off with peach ice tea, give it a stir, always taste your drink and top it off with more ice so that you can place your garnish on it. Cut up pieces of peach for the garnish. Make sure you slap your mint to activate the flavour and add it to your drink.
