The heat is on in episode 2 of Clash of the Choirs SA as three celebrity musos gear up to find unique voices that will represent their provinces. We have Hip-Hop talent and award winning Motswako rapper and producer, JR heading up Mpumalanga, the acclaimed princess of R&B and House, Bucie leading the Eastern Cape province and Gospel heavyweight and SAMA award winner, Sfiso Ncwane waving the Free State flag.

JR’s journey is off to a bumpy start when he struggles to find talent in the town of Nelspruit, but later gets his hopes lifted when he discovers a distinctive voice in Barberton.

It’s smooth sailing for Bucie and Sfiso as they hit the streets of Eastern Cape and the Free State, respectively, in search of talented singers. Bucie clinches herself an established choir upon her arrival as Sfiso takes it up a notch by visiting the house of a potentially gifted singer.

With time not on their side, sweat and tears are on the menu when each choirmaster is faced with the mammoth task of stripping away some voices in order to assemble an 18 member choir.

Will JR, Bucie and Sfiso put together their individual choirs in record time?

Tune into Clash of the Choirs this Sunday, 17 January at 17:30 on Mzansi Magic – Channel 161 as all three musos race against time to find and form their choirs.
