Beauty (43) and Consolation Lenka (60) are a reminder that it’s never too late to get a second chance at love, and we’re here for it!

How they met:

The couple met on Facebook in 2018. He was browsing through Facebook profiles and came across hers, and he sent a Friend Request. Just by looking at her profile, he saw that she had the qualities he likes in a woman.

Beauty is into the business of selling health and beauty products and when Consolation first contacted her via inbox, he inquired about the products. They spoke more after this and he even went on to book a facial. They decided to meet before the facial appointment, just to chat a bit.

The second time they met, he was on his way to pick up his passport in Standerton, so he asked her to meet him at a coffee shop.

How he proposed:

Before they could even settle down in the coffee show, Consolation was on his knees, asking Beauty to marry him! “I remember it was very cold that day, but I was seating a lot,” said Beauty.

Elaborating on the logic behind his surprise proposal, Consolation said he figured he wasn’t getting any younger and when he saw her, he saw everything he needed and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Beauty divorced about 14 years ago and has been single since. Consolation’s first wife died about seven years ago and has been widowed since then. The two say their relationship a second chance at love, something they consider to be very special.

Challenges:

Beauty has two children and Consolation has three. She said merging the two families was their biggest challenge. They made a conscious decision not to forget that they had been brought together by love. And that’s what got them through everything.
