Anathi and Luzuko's big day – Gqeberha: The Empire

10 February 2023
Siya shadisa bahlali!
black love

It's been a roller coaster ride, but they made it.

Anathi and Luzuko will finally say I do in a ceremony fit for a King and Queen.

It's been rough bahlali, the spirit of entanglement almost took over - threatening the Mxenge empire as we know it.

But we're grateful Anathi listened to Mam Khulu and chose Luzuko ( because who doesn't love a wedding) and we've been glued to our screens ever since.

Here are our most memorable moments from the wedding so far:

1. A surprise proposal 💍

In an amazing plot twist, Thulani Mxenge proposed to his girlfriend, after being rejected by his father's bride-to-be.

2. A chopper 🚁

Our village girl arrived in a chopper, please! That Mxenge money is truly taking her to higher heights mntase.

3. An evil lover 💅

Zimkhita stays scheming and her jealousy gets the better of her when she tips off the cops that Ta Msi is responsible for the copper heists in Gqeberha.

4. A gorgeous bride 👰

Anathi is a beautiful girl, but she shut it down with her wedding looks. It's her being so excited about looking like an actual real-life doll for us, and trust, the best is yet to come.

5. A Beautiful moment between Bulelwa and Luzuko 😍

We've been waiting to feel the love, and trust us we felt that warm exchange between the first lady and the king of Gqeberha.

6. The Mxenge wife's wedding looks 🔥

The Mxenge wives looked absolutely stunning, and maybe a few controversial looks with the ice- queen and slay queen dressed in white.

7. A jelous ex-boyfriend 🚮

Anathi is certainly becoming Gqeberha's most sought-after lady, after rejecting Thulani and David. Her past comes to haunt her as she comes face to face with David. How will it end?

There's more to come, so be sure you're glued to your screens tonight as we gather to watch Gqeberha's most talked-about wedding.
