Ever since Phumelele’s old flame, Fenyang Molefenyane came onto the scene we have been wondering which woman could have captivated the advocate after his precious Maria.

The advocate has had little good to say about his ex-wife but there is always a thin line between love and hate, so we chalked it up to post-divorce blues.

However, it seems he may have been right about Malaika’s mother. Amanda Molefenyane, played by Thembisa Mdoda stepped onto the Zungu’s Protea property and though she looked like a million bucks she was clearly not impressed with her daughter’s make-shift daycare centre and caregiver for the day, Phumelele.

She is feisty, abrasive and well put together, so it looks like we are in store for drama, drama, drama!

Amanda is clearly a confident, beautiful and accomplished career woman who does not mince her words. She left Phumelele doubting her own beauty and comparing herself to the woman her former love chose after things did not work out between her and him as young kids. Could this mean Phumelele still has feelings for Fenyang?

The other question on everyone’s lips is what does Amanda have in store for us? She is feisty, abrasive and well put together, so it looks like we are in store for drama, drama, drama!
