It has been a rollercoaster ride for Nox ever since she left prison. With her tumultuous relationship with her mother, it did not take long for her to fall back into the life of crime again. As that old adage says, old habit die hard. But one thing about Nox, she will try her hardest to change things: A promise she made to her brother.

And so, she is trying to go legit, by starting her own mechanics workshop with her friends, the Wrong Turns; Lerato, Asanda and Sne.

Making a compete 180 is proving to be difficult and as her dream continues to be deferred, it may just make Nox’s heart sick. First, the workshop site she found was raided by thugs, then when her father had built her a shack to work from, again it was destroyed by thugs. No one wanted to sell her equipment and to top it off, her and Asanda just keep butting heads.

It seems Bra Elliot, is doing a good job of frustrating and sabotaging Nox’s hopes and dreams, killing her spirit in the process. The fact that he is working with Sne, makes it even easier for him.

Not too far from Nox is her mother, also trying to hold on to a dream that is slipping away from her. She wants to buy the cleaning business she works for from her boss Mrs P who is relocating. But with just R15 000, a band of friends laughing at her and feelings of being a failure, how on earth will she raise the R80 000 she needs to buy the business?

D-day is Friday for both mother and daughter. Nox wants to launch the workshop on Friday and Mrs P has given MaShenge until Friday to raise the money to buy the business.

Will they make their dreams come true or are they headed for heartbreak?
