Day 14: A week of confessions and clashes in the Bazozwa house – BBMzansi

News25 January 2026
Tensions rose, honest truths surfaced, and drama exploded as housemates navigated the week.
Weekly wrap up

This week in the Bazozwa house unfolded like a slow build-up to a storm. It began with a major shake-up as Dube secured the Head of House title in a tense, music-themed showdown, taking over the reins from Ofentse, who held HoH in the first week.

His win instantly changed the mood in the house, especially with nominations placing Tumi the Barber, Neliswa, Lawredo, Que, The Don and Ofentse in danger, forcing alliances to tighten and strategies to surface.

As the days went on, relationships and boundaries became a hot topic. Ashay made it clear that romance is not on his agenda, firmly shutting down any shipping, while Didi drew a line with Que, reminding him she is in a relationship outside the house and needs her space.

At the same time, doubts swirled around Tumi the Barber’s intentions. While he is officially dating Buhle B, whispers and warnings from Didi and Dene Jones suggest he’s been flirting with other women in the house, raising questions about his loyalty and sparking tension. Ofentse’s name also kept coming up in multiple situationships, as it became clear he had been pursuing more than one woman at a time, making him a central figure in both the house’s romantic entanglements and its growing social drama.

The pressure eased briefly when the housemates redeemed themselves in the wager challenge. Working together on a hero-themed musical performance, they impressed Biggie and walked away with a perfect 100% score, restoring confidence and unity after last week’s setback.

Fresh off their wager win, the housemates wasted no time celebrating at the Thursday night pool party. Spirits were high, confidence was boosted, and the mood felt lighter as music, laughter and dancing filled the air. The victory seemed to unite the house, even if only for a moment, as everyone soaked in the reward of teamwork and success.

However, cracks soon began to show. A small but telling tiff broke out between Ofentse and  King Wanda, with King Wanda warning him to stay away from Dene Jones. The tension carried an unmistakable competitive edge, especially as Dene Jones appeared amused by the attention and the subtle rivalry brewing between the two. What seemed like a minor disagreement at the time now reads as the spark that may have ignited the explosive confrontation that later unfolded between them after the Saturday night party.

All roads, however, led to the Saturday night party. What started as a night of high energy and celebration quickly turned into a battleground once the music stopped. King Wanda and Ofentse clashed in yet another heated exchange. The fallout between Ofentse and King Wanda after the Saturday night party appeared to stem from unresolved tension earlier in the week, and that moment created visible strain between the two. When alcohol and heightened emotions came into play after the party, the issue resurfaced, leading to the confrontation where King Wanda accused Ofentse of being fake and questioned his intentions, and Ofentse responded with sharp remarks.

Now, as eviction night looms, the atmosphere in the Bazozwa house is heavy with uncertainty. With six housemates on the chopping block, questions hang in the air about who might have been dancing and partying for the last time. After a week of confessions, clashes, shifting alliances and bruised egos, all eyes are on tonight’s results, as at least one housemate’s journey is set to come to an end.
