Tensions continue to simmer between Thandeka and Liema in the Big Brother Mzansi house, though the conflict has been largely unspoken.

Liema revealed to Ilano and Trixie that Thandeka is still upset over a wig prank Liema pulled on her. She explained that as she was passing by, Thandeka didn’t move to make space for her, and added that this behaviour has been ongoing for a few days.

Ilano commented that something seems to be wrong with Thandeka and suggested she be left alone. Trixie weighed in, noting that she is capable of taking accountability for her own shortcomings, whereas Thandeka refuses to do the same. Trixie was referring to Thandeka’s refusal to apologise for comments she made about Ilano’s identity. Liema added that Thandeka is provoking her by expecting her to tolerate passive-aggressive behaviour. In a different chat, Thandeka told Ramona that she has no plans of ever having a conversation with Liema.

Meanwhile, Thandeka had a reflective conversation with Mmeli about stereotypes and their impact. He shared his desire to challenge the stereotype surrounding gents from Hillbrow, which he feels unfairly defines them. Thandeka questioned why he is concerned with others’ perceptions, emphasising that she does not feel the need to explain herself to anyone. She explained that while she documents her travels through videos, these are personal and meant only for loved ones, and added that even in the house she will not share anything deeply personal, leaving others to think as they wish.

Meanwhile, The Don confided in King Wanda about his concern for evicted housemate Mshefane. The Don revealed that Mshefane had expressed worries about his family, saying, “I don’t know what my mom is eating at home because I am the breadwinner,” a statement he described as heartbreaking. He added that he hopes Mshefane will succeed in life so he can take care of his family.

On a lighter note, housemates took on Biggie’s task of crafting the perfect proposal to ask someone to be their official Cuff It partner for the week. Dube admitted to Ashay that he is torn between asking Liema or Didi. Ashay advised him to go for Liema, noting that none of the other gents were likely to ask her. Dube acknowledged that Didi might catch feelings, so flirting with Liema could be safe.
