Nominations were once again at the forefront in the Big Brother Mzansi house today. Speaking with Bravo B, Dube justified his approach, revealing that his original strategy of targeting housemates who had previously faced nominations was starting to fall apart.
He admitted his theory isn’t always reliable. Dube also believes that if nominations hadn’t been face to face last night, people would have nominated him, but they just didn’t have the courage to do it to his face. Bravo B agreed with his perspective.
Meanwhile, Thandeka weighed in on Liema’s reason for nominating Mmeli. Liema explained that she had expected to form a brother–sister bond with him in the house, but he has since grown close to Thandeka, which Liema wasn’t happy about. Speaking with Ramona, Thandeka questioned the logic behind the nomination, pointing out that Liema and Mmeli weren’t even in the same season previously. “She was on the same season as Bravo B, but I don’t see her talk to him. What is so special about Mmeli?” Thandeka remarked, expressing her confusion.
By noon, the house was already filled with drama, as a prank caused some chaos. Ashay and King Wanda noticed a peculiar smell upon entering the bedroom and discovered Colgate smeared across the sheets on King Wanda and The Don’s beds. King Wanda explained that the prank signalled who they were not afraid of, describing the pranksters as “childish". The Don advised King Wanda not to address it, so as not to give the pranksters the reaction they were seeking.
On a lighter note, preparations for the day’s fitness task sparked discussion around Ilano’s appearance. Liema approached her, commenting that she usually looks more put together than she did today. Ilano explained that she was taking a wig break and didn’t want to wear a wig while working out for the fitness theme.
Didi suggested removing the wig cap, saying it didn’t suit her, and Liema agreed, noting that it was unusual for Gadlaza to have such messy hair. Although Ilano didn’t seem pleased with their comments, she went ahead and removed the wig cap.
