Tension bubbled beneath the surface in Biggie’s house when Mmeli and Thandeka found themselves in what appeared to be an intense conversation about communication and misunderstandings.
Mmeli confronted Thandeka, saying that although she often speaks about the importance of communication, he felt there was none between them in that moment. Thandeka explained that earlier he had been cooking and later called the housemates to say the food was ready, after which she went to speak with Que. From her perspective, the situation did not feel like the right moment to address anything serious.
Mmeli disagreed, insisting that communication could still happen even while he was cooking. Thandeka questioned whether the kitchen was really the best place to resolve issues, but Mmeli continued to express why he felt frustrated. He pointed out that after her conversation with Que, she kept passing by him without saying anything before eventually telling him she wasn’t feeling well. To him, it felt like she could communicate easily with other people but not with him.
He also mentioned that when he later came to check on her, he tried to give her a kiss but she moved her face away. Thandeka quickly clarified that the moment had been misunderstood, explaining that she was simply trying to clip her hair at the time and wasn’t intentionally rejecting him. She added that she just wanted to clear things up between them.
Moments like this highlight just how important communication is for relationships inside Biggie’s house. With housemates constantly sharing the same space and living under pressure, small misunderstandings can quickly turn into bigger conflicts if they are not addressed clearly. Open conversations help partners avoid assumptions and ensure that both sides feel heard.
At the same time, timing and context can make a big difference. In an environment where emotions run high and housemates juggle tasks, social dynamics, and the stress of the show, knowing when and how to communicate becomes just as important as the message itself. For ships in the house, strong communication can either strengthen the bond or expose cracks that might otherwise go unnoticed.
After the Saturday night party, a more emotional moment unfolded when Liema opened up about missing home. She admitted that she missed her mother and her brother and said she was actually glad that it was the second-to-last week because the longing for home had grown stronger.
Sensing her emotions, Didi stepped in to comfort her. Trying to lighten the mood, Didi told Liema not to cry and jokingly said she would pass the message along to her family that she missed them since she was “going home tomorrow.”
With emotions running high, it’s clear that as the final stretch approaches, housemates are not only dealing with relationship dynamics but also the growing pull of life outside Biggie’s house.
