After Biggie instructed the housemates to write anonymous letters to one another yesterday, today’s reading session quickly stirred drama in the house. As each housemate received and read their letters aloud, the moment sparked corner talks, spicy remarks, and tense reactions.

Liema shared that she believes Thandeka and Mmeli will grow stronger from the letters they received, explaining that they tend to feed off people’s negative opinions. This comes after it emerged that Mmeli, Thandeka, and Que were the housemates that received the most negative letters. Didi, however, felt that some housemates were not truthful in what they wrote, accusing others of lying in their messages. Liema responded by saying Mmeli was upset because she had simply written the truth.

King Wanda also weighed in, stating that nothing about him is pretence and that what people see is exactly what they get. Liema admitted that she does not feel she can fully be herself in the house, a sentiment Didi agreed with. She further revealed that she intentionally wrote her letter in a harsh tone, saying she wanted it to come across as mean.

Upstairs, Thandeka explained to Mmeli why she chose to write to certain housemates, although she avoided mentioning names. According to Thandeka, people often believe they know her when they do not, adding that outside the house she would rather avoid interacting with the types of individuals in the house.

Meanwhile, Trixie expressed frustration after learning that some housemates had spoken negatively about her in Bravo B’s letters while saying nothing directly to her in the letters she received. She questioned why people chose to speak about her instead of addressing her openly. Liema suggested the letters may have come from people close to Bravo B, referring to Thandeka and Mmeli.

Liema also admitted feeling guilty about the harsh letter she wrote to Que, in which she criticised his wardrobe, saying he had been wearing the same clothes since week one despite calling himself King Kotini.

As the drama settled, Liema apologised to Que for what she had written, explaining that she had been upset and angry at the time. The moment ended on a softer note as Liema, Didi, and The Don discarded their letters, and Que and Liema shared a hug, signalling a step towards reconciliation after a tense exchange.
