Day 26: Ilano questions the distribution of house chores – BBMzansi

News06 February 2026
The aftermath of the pool party continues to stir tension.
Ilano

What began as a conversation about household chores soon revealed deeper frustrations bubbling beneath the surface in the Big Brother Mzansi house.

Ilano shared her concerns with Buhle B, saying the women are growing tired of constantly cleaning up after the men. She questioned why duties such as washing dishes continue to fall on the ladies, especially when they already take responsibility for cooking. Ilano asked Buhle B to pass the message on to Tumi the Barber, stressing that the men also need to wash dishes. She pointed out that when the women cook, they still wash up afterwards, adding that expecting them to do both is unfair. According to Ilano, it would only be reasonable for the men to make up for it, noting that she and Didi have been sharing dishwashing duties.

As frustrations over house duties lingered, personal tensions also came into focus. Bravo B admitted that there is a female housemate he is not getting along with, revealing that it is Trixie. He claimed their fallout stems from his failure to console her after her argument with Thandeka, leading him to believe she now dislikes him.

Not long after, Trixie had a private conversation with Neliswa where she made it clear that she no longer cares about Bravo B. Neliswa agreed, saying respect is no longer being reciprocated. Trixie explained that she had previously gone to Bravo B to vent, but felt dismissed, adding that she is over the situationship because nothing came out of it anyway. She added that she is proud to have walked away with her dignity intact and that no one can suggest anything inappropriate ever happened between them.

Earlier in the day reflecting on the events that followed the pool party, Thandeka spoke to Ramona and accused Trixie of being controlling. She claimed that during the punishment, Trixie did not want her to smile and instructed Tumi the Barber to reprimand her.

Ramona shared her thoughts, saying she still wants to speak to Trixie because she wants to see how events will unfold when the pressure shifts. Their conversation continued as they discussed the ongoing friction among the women, suggesting that constant misunderstandings and difficulty following simple instructions are preventing harmony in the house.

As the effects of the pool party continue to ripple through the house, the tensions remain hight and  housemates are keeping to their divided groups.
