Last Sunday marked a dramatic start to the week in the Bazozwa house as housemates said goodbye to Lawredo and Ofentse, setting the tone for what would become a challenging few days.

Wager woes

Tumi the Barber, the reigning HoH, struggled to get the housemates to work together during the day’s wager, themed Ama VIP, which brought the world of social media to life in the house. Despite a call for a meeting to align strategies, tensions ran high, and cooperation was hard to come by. Thandeka even refused to participate in the presentation, leaving the housemates at a disadvantage. As expected, their lack of teamwork led to a wager loss. Fortunately, they were able to manage their food consumption, avoiding a complete spiral; though questions remain whether the house can maintain control in the week ahead.

Relationship tensions

Romance and friendship dynamics in the house continued to stir drama. Mmeli and Thandeka had a major fight following the Thursday pool party, leaving everyone wondering if their ship was over. The duo later reconciled, with Mmeli taking the first step to apologise for his outburst. Meanwhile, Tumi the Barber sparked speculation about potential new sparks as he confessed his feelings for Dene Jones during a private conversation, while affirming his commitment to Buhle B out of respect. Dene Jones, however, admitted she liked Tumi and hinted at wanting to plant a kiss on him. She later shared with Ilano her belief that Tumi may not be truly happy with Buhle B.

Other housemates also faced relational doubts. Neliswa questioned The Don’s feelings for her, showing that matters of the heart remained as complicated as ever.

Biggie’s punishments

Biggie did not shy away from addressing the housemates’ unruly behaviour, particularly regarding the use of vernacular language. Punishments were swift and firm: housemates were made to sleep on the floor, and at one point, Ramona was even dragged off the bed to join them.

As the week unfolds, housemates must navigate wagers, relationships, and Biggie’s rules; all while trying to maintain control in a house that seems to thrive on drama.
