Week five in the Bazozwa house was full of twists, tension, romance, and heartfelt moments. 😍
The week kicked off with Mmeli claiming victory in the Head of House challenge, taking charge of the house. He viewed his HoH role more as a place of security than excitement. He also praised the creativity and energy in the house, noting how his connection with Cuff It partner Thandeka had strengthened. The two had moved from cautious allies to a close and strategic duo, sharing private jokes, supportive moments, and laughs while managing the duties of HoH.
An unexpected twist arrived during the live nominations with the introduction of a nomination wheel. When Mmeli spun it, all housemates suddenly faced the risk of eviction. Each were given two minutes to reflect on their journey so far, revealing both vulnerability and tactical thinking as the week unfolded.
Love Week brought a softer but emotionally intense mood. Diary sessions were dominated by Biggie's Cuff It pairings, personal reflections, and lingering feelings from recent evictions. Dube admitted he was struggling after losing Kokii and Mshefane. Proud to have reached the top 15, he now aims for the top 10. Although he does not intend to form another close bond, he has grown comfortable with his Cuff It partner Didi. Despite her outspoken and strong personality, their dynamic has proved effective, and Dube balances both nerves and confidence as he faces nominations and the unpredictable wheel.
Wednesday saw tensions rise during wager preparations when Thandeka and Ilano clashed, prompting Mmeli to intervene and call a pause. Thandeka, still recovering from a fall and a recent strike, acknowledged the support she felt from the house. She made it clear she separates her personal relationship with Mmeli from his HoH responsibilities and commended his fair and diplomatic approach.
Conflict escalated further over alcohol following a straight-win wager on Thursday. Neliswa confronted Dube about Mmeli and Thandeka taking drinks, despite a house agreement that all alcohol should be shared. Didi argued that the issue was about principle rather than quantity. Outside, Ilano questioned The Don over why he had handed alcohol to Mmeli, who explained he had not realised some had already been taken. Thandeka’s decision to take drinks upstairs intensified the tension. Voices were raised, with Mmeli and Didi clashing and both of them highlighting the thing of age.
The Saturday night party, expected to be a fun celebration, instead turned into one of the most dramatic nights in the house. Neliswa and Trixie ended the night in tears, with much of the unrest linked, directly or indirectly, to Que.
After the party, disputes continued. Neliswa accused The Don of showing attitude in his interactions with Liema, while Bravo B confided in King Wanda and Tumi the Barber that he feared Trixie was not fully loyal. Trixie defended herself, insisting she had always chosen Bravo B. With support from Mmeli and Thandeka, the two reconciled with a hug, bringing temporary calm.
Week five highlighted how delicate relationships have become in the house. Trust remains uncertain for Neliswa and The Don, while Bravo B and Trixie continue to navigate insecurities involving Que. With eviction looming, every interaction carries weight, closely watching to see who strengthens their position and who struggles as the game moves into another week.
