Mzansi Magic viewers will be happy to know that their faves are returning to the channel with some interesting twists thrown in.
Kicking off the month is one that viewers love to hate, Mnakwethu S4, premiering on Tuesday 2 April with host Musa Mseleku, a proud polygamist, still acting as counsel and mediator for the couples.
The show has always managed to leave viewers divided in opinion because it follows men when they ask their wives to agree and allow them to marry a second wife. With success not always guaranteed, Mseleku assists these men in pleading their cases to their wives, helping them come to terms with the request and, sometimes, facilitating the meeting between the first and potential second wives.
On Sunday 7 April, Date My Family is back on the screens for season 12, and this time, there is a twist! This season will see Driver Bae – who has had viewers swooning at his silent charm – do more than just drive the singles around to dates and open the door for them. You will have to tune in to see what other pleasant surprises the show has in store for season 12.
Come Wednesday 10 April, Nganele returns for season 2. The show follows three couples who met on another Mzansi original, Makoti, Are you the one? – as they navigate life post the series. The three couples have been dealt different blows, from a potential makoti being the breadwinner, to a potential groom who refuses to cut the apron strings, and one who finds out his mother may not be his biological mother. Kuningi!
