Sometimes it takes a single decision, a failed relationship, or even a guilty feeling to realise you were not the hero after all. In a moment of honesty and humour, the housemates reflected on the times in their lives when they recognised their own flaws. Some answers were light-hearted, others deeply personal, and a few came with no regret at all.
Ashay admitted he has never really been in that situation. He described himself as super chilled and said he does not try to be right or wrong.
Bravo B reflected on his school days. He said he used to think he was different until he realised he had always wanted to be on top of everyone, whether it was being on TV or being the first at everything.
Didi confessed that in every relationship she gets mad at a cheating partner, yet she does it too-“oops”. She added that at least she makes sure her partner never finds out, questioning why she has to find out. “Egg-xactly,” she said, before adding, “Kadladla, even if you hide it, my gut baby! I already know.”
King Wanda shared a deeply personal reflection. He once left a beautiful relationship. At the time, he felt his reasons for leaving were valid, but it was because he had met someone new. He left someone who would have done anything for him and made them feel like it was their fault that he left all along. He said she is happy now, has her own family and might be getting married soon.
Liema said her moment came when she had to choose between two guys. She realised she should not have been in that position to begin with.
Mmeli recalled primary school, when he started bullying the school buddy. He said he did not regret it, and would do it again.
Que kept it short and playful: “Lol, I’m never wrong! Get it? If you don’t, forget about it.”
Thandeka reflected on blaming only the toxic individual in her past, instead of looking at why and how she was attracting those types of people into her life. She admitted she was young and stupid, adding, “thank goodness it’s over.”
The Don said his villain moment was last year when all his talking stages failed.
For Trixie, it was the time she decided to go to rehab.
What stood out most was the mix of accountability and attitude. While some recognised growth and lessons learnt, others stood firm in their choices. Whether humorous, reflective or bold, each confession proved that everyone has a villain chapter- the real question is what you do after it.
