Day 30 : Neliswa praises Mmeli’s leadership – BBMzansi

News10 February 2026
The housemates were all about working on their wager and bouncing ideas, but the issue of chores still lingered.
Neliswa

As the night progressed, Neliswa weighed in on Mmeli’s recent win, saying she is glad he has taken control and brought Thandeka into line. She added that the ladies had previously complained about Thandeka not doing chores as instructed by former Heads of House, but that seems to be a thing of the past.

Speaking to Ilano, Neliswa revealed that Mmeli had previously shouted at Thandeka over a bucket and also addressed the way she spoke when she was shouting at King Wanda and other housemates. Neliswa said that even when she attempted to speak to Thandeka herself, Mmeli stepped in to remind her about respect. According to Neliswa, he is clearly focused on keeping his leadership smooth and maintaining order in the house.

Ilano agreed that the atmosphere in the house is likely to shift, predicting a very interesting week ahead. During their conversation, Ilano asked Neliswa whether diary sessions are live, appearing surprised when she learned that they are. Afterwards, Ilano appeared to reflect on all the tea she had shared with Big Sister in the diary room and the fact that South Ahh now knows about it.

Meanwhile, Thandeka and Mmeli later discussed the strikes Biggie handed out on Sunday. Thandeka explained that she received a strike for her comments but felt that others who were also punished did not seem affected by the consequences. She pointed to Trixie, suggesting that the situation did not appear to faze her.

Thandeka went on to describe an incident involving Trixie, claiming that Trixie refused to open a door handle out of spite. She said she was shocked when watching the clip played by Biggie, as Trixie did not appear disgusted by her own behaviour. The footage was shown to housemates to highlight how they had been acting in the house and ultimately led to Trixie receiving two strikes.

Just after the Chillers Punch Challenge, Liema and Ashay reflected on the arena games and the unexpected twist. Liema admitted she did not anticipate the turn of events and initially believed Didi would walk away with the money. Didi joined the conversation, saying she assumed the teams would return at the end but did not expect them to secure a win.

This followed the Chillers Punch Mystery Box Challenge earlier in the day. After three competitive rounds, Team Peach and Mango faced Team Tequila Sunrise in round three and emerged victorious. Biggie then introduced a twist, turning the challenge into a game of luck. All teams were required to choose a box, with the lucky pick containing a voucher. Team Ice, made up of Liema, Tumi the Barber and Mmeli, ultimately claimed the prize and walked away with R10 000.
