As the Bazozwa house edges closer to another decisive moment, relationships begin to crack under pressure. With another week passing in the house, the housemates are feeling the heat, and it is spilling into their closest connections.
Thandeka and Mmeli
Thandeka and Mmeli, popularly known on X as "The Khumalo's", have hit a rough patch after a disagreement that led to them sleeping on separate beds. The couple clashed over the behaviour of other housemates, with Mmeli reminding Thandeka that living with younger housemates comes with added responsibility. Thandeka did not take kindly to the conversation, leaving Mmeli feeling disrespected. Since then, he has kept his distance, while Thandeka surprised many by assisting with the wager task, despite previously insisting she would not take part. Viewers on X jumped in.
Trixie and Bravo B
Trixie and Bravo B found themselves at the centre of a live-show fallout. During Sunday’s live show, host Smash Afrika revealed that Trixie had shared a kiss with Que after the pool party. The revelation did not sit well with Bravo B, who admitted feeling betrayed. Even after Trixie said that the kiss happened in the early days of the game, Bravo B maintained that Trixie should have told him. The situation was further complicated by Trixie’s past involvement with evicted housemate Ofentse, making it difficult for the pair to move past the tension fully.
Tumi the Barber and Buhle B
While not currently in open conflict, drama continues to surround Tumi the Barber and Buhle B. Their troubles trace back to day one, when Tumi the Barber showed interest in both Buhle B and Liema. Buhle B has accused Liema of wanting her man, while Liema insists she is not in the house to date and has a partner outside. However, she has also stated that she will flirt if flirted with, claiming boredom as her reason. The uncertainty has left Buhle B questioning what is really going on between Liema and Tumi, with commentary from Dene Jones, suggesting that Tumi has yet to find someone who truly brings out the best in him.
The two recently butted heads over t-shirt designs, with Tumi insisting that he will design Buhle B's t-shirt after she spent 45 minutes designing heads. Buhle B walked away from Tumi and vented to Mashel. The two later resolved the issue, with Buhle B telling Tumi that she loves him, and also asking Tumi to tell her he loves her too.
Dube and Kokii
Adding to the intrigue are Dube and Kokii, whose closeness has not gone unnoticed. The pair have shared several cosy moments, from tucking each other in at night to quietly supporting one another around the house. Although neither has labelled the relationship, Dube’s decision to save Kokii from nomination during his HoH reign raised eyebrows. However, cracks may be forming, as the two have recently appeared tense, speaking less, and a slap landing when Dube spanked her after also denying her. The two might be following each other around, but trouble could be brewing beneath the surface, and only time will tell. The two are on media rounds involving Dene Jone's apparent crush on Dube, which he denies.
Whether these relationships grow stronger under pressure or unravel completely remains to be seen, but one thing is certain in the Bazozwa house – love is no longer just a comfort; it is a test.
