Day 61: Pausing the beef, deleting the recipes – BBMzansi

News
14 March 2025
The top 8 housemates squashed their beef.
Top 8 Unity

Absolutely nothing seems to be off-limits with the Top 8. With tensions running high during the past weeks, the housemates had been at each other's throats. But, as we've seen this week, even the most unlikely of enemies can put their differences aside.

Abobo, who had a tiff with Nsuku after she pulled the sheets he was sitting on, has seemingly moved on.

Jojo, who had beef with both Nate and Nsuku, is now inseparable from Nate and shares banter with Uyanda. Jojo's brief beef with Nsuku, which started after Nsuku accused her of not allowing housemates to access the kitchen during Mshini's HoH reign, has fizzled out.

Mshini, who had a heated argument with Uyanda after overhearing her name being mentioned in a conversation with Mandy Hagan, now has a beautiful love-hate relationship with him. Mshini also cracks up Sweet Guluva all the time, and their friendship is going strong even though they had once had a moment of rivalry. Sweet Guluva has even taken a brotherly role, often advising Mshini when she goes astray.

Nate, who had a long-reigning beef with Siphesihle, can now sit in the same space as her. Nate's beef with Jojo over biltong has also been squashed. Nsuku, who was once easily triggered, can now share stories with all the housemates and make them laugh. Sweet Guluva has even taken an interest in her stories, actively listening and engaging with her even though she once stepped on his toes when he disagreed with Nsuku's commands as HoH.

Nsuku has also apologized to Sweet Guluva, and they're cool now. Sweet Guluva and Uyanda have a strong bond, despite being each other's competition.

Siphesihle, who accused Nate of being "snakey" during her diary sessions, seems to have put the past behind her. Uyanda, the first finalist and HoH, has had squabbles with Jojo and Mshini, but is now laughing and sharing banter with them.

This week, we've seen the Top 8 housemates come together in unexpected ways. They're putting their differences aside and forming strong bonds. It's a beautiful thing to see.

But, as we all know, things can change quickly in the Big Brother house, especially after the Saturday Night party, where drama often stages a surprise coup, overthrowing the camaraderie that accumulated during the course of the week. With Soa Matrix taking the housemates in a different realm with his set tomorrow, plus Chillers Punch on sight, Will the fire break lose? Stay tuned to find out!
