The mood in the house was on an all-time low as housemates are feeling the absence of their loved ones today. In their diary sessions, they opened up to Big Brother, sharing how much they miss their families and wish they could hear from them.
It was a real moment of vulnerability in the house, even the strongest soldiers need a little love from home.
Big Brother’s soulful music hit Abobo right in the feels earlier today, leaving him deep in thought about whether he should stay in the game or bow out. During his diary session, he got real with Big Brother, telling him how much he misses his daughter and his girlfriend and even asking for atleast a voice note from them, just to cope.
Feeling the weight of the house's energy, Abobo admitted it’s been tough, and he’s really struggling with the isolation. The house is starting to feel toxic, and he can’t help but long for his family and friends.
It wasn’t any easier for Melino, who broke down in tears during his diary session. He too opened up about how much he misses his children and the mother of his kids. When Biggie asked what he missed most about the outside world, his answer was simple but powerful. He said being surrounded by his family, hiking and his dogs. It’s clear that the isolation of the house is hitting hard, and the longing for loved ones is real.
Philile also opened up about her tough start to the day, admitting she was missing home and not feeling her best but she did say that as the day went on, things slowly started to look up for her.
Sweet Guluva got real with Big Brother, sharing that things are a little different with his bae on the outside. He admitted he misses her and wasn’t shocked when Swiss saved Nsuku, given they’re besties and all. When given a chance to state his wishlist, he said it would definitey be a soccer ball, his family especially his grandmother and his friends. Is it weird how he didn't mention Ash-ley Ogle or is he still nursing the hope of her returning to the house?
Mata, Mshini, and Siphesihle were in a whole different mood, keeping the vibes high while chatting about all the delicious foods they’re missing on the outside. But it wasn’t all smiles. Mata got real and admitted she’s starting to get annoyed by some housemates. She called out their fake behaviour, feeling like some are just playing it safe to stay in the game.
Love week is definitely stirring up some emotions in the housemates, making them long for the ones closest to their hearts.
