This week was a full-blown thriller for the housemates, but tonight they emerged victorious. Stellar nature performances earned them a wager win. Based on the theme ‘Mother Nature versus Human Nature’ the groups were split and they represented five nature elements: Air, Earth, Fire, Water, and Space and as the champions, the Earth element are the only team allowed to shop for this week’s supplies.
How Team Earth won it!
Abobo, Bonni Bee, Mandy Hagan, Nsuku and Siphesihle made up Team Earth and their performance told a powerful tale of a couple with a child whose life was suddenly threatened by illness. The illness symbolized how mother nature can strike at any moment like a sudden sickness, leaving the family financially stretched and desperate for help. But through the resilience of human nature, represented by the father’s tireless efforts to earn money, the family finally gathered enough to give their baby the healthcare they needed, ending in a heartwarming happily ever after.
Ash-ley Ogle and Bonni Bee banned
With one strike each, Big Brother announced that Ash-ley Ogle and Bonni Bee would excluded from the pool party and detaind in the water bedroom for its duration, as part of their punishment for various transgressions. Once the housemates were back in the house, Ash-ley Ogle stole a moment for a quick canoodle with her boo Sweet Guluva, while Philile offered Bonni Bee her bed before stepping out.
This victory came unexpected as the housemates weren’t exactly confident about their wager outcome. In fact, when chatting to Biggie this week, many expressed just how frustrated they were. The house was in chaos, people weren’t getting along, and tensions ran high during rehearsals.
Gugu and Savage went head to head after Gugu felt she was carrying the load. On the other hand Mshini and Ash-ley Ogle clashed, with Ash-ley Ogle’s actions sabotaging her teammate’s efforts. It was one wild week, but look at that win, talk about resilience.
A king had to be crowned and as voted by the housemates, it was time to crown the Umlilo Champion of the week. After a fierce competition, Sweet Guluva stood out and triumphed, earning the title of Umlilo King of the Week. Last week it was Siphesihle and Tyrone who snatched this one.
Biggie gave major props to the housemates for their creative performances, acknowledging the presence of team spirit and adding that their presentation depicted the elements in a poetic and artistic way.
