With recent evictions still weighing heavily, the housemates step into Love Week carrying mixed emotions

The Bazozwa house has entered a softer – but emotionally heavier – phase as the housemates settle into Love Week, a period filled with pairings, reflections, and lingering feelings after recent evictions. While the excitement is certainly evident, so is the absence of familiar faces, and the diary sessions reveal a house trying to balance romance, ambition, and the reality of the game.

Dube admitted he is struggling with conflicting emotions after losing Kokii and Mshefane. Proud of reaching the top 15, he has now set his sights on the top 10 even as he adjusts to life without the person with whom he shared meals and conversation. Though he says he doesn’t want to form another close bond, he has grown comfortable with his “Cuff It” partner Didi, whose loud and controlling personality surprisingly works for him. He also feels both fear and confidence about nominations and the unpredictable wheel of chance.

Liema, on the other hand, is enjoying a drama-free week and feels hopeful about rediscovering herself. She praised Head of House Mmeli as a natural and calm leader and appreciated the romantic theme, especially since some housemates never experienced a matric dance. Paired with Tumi the Barber, she admitted she would have preferred Ashay instead and even asked Big Sister for the possibility of a date. Reflecting on the evictions, she was shocked by Kokii’s exit and expected Buhle B to last much longer.

Ashay remains grateful to still be in the house and commends Mmeli’s leadership, calling him the perfect person to guide them. He partnered with Ramona so she wouldn’t feel left out and was deeply saddened by Mshefane’s departure. For him, nominations remain a bittersweet part of the game – stressful, but necessary to keep viewers engaged.

Neliswa began the week calm and optimistic, happy to be in the top 15 and hoping to stay longer. She noted the house has been more peaceful under Mmeli’s leadership and enjoyed preparing outfits for the wager with The Don, with whom she has now officially coupled up after an honest conversation. However, she still felt the emotional weight of seeing Buhle B, Kokii, and Mshefane leave.

Bravo B echoed the positivity, saying he trusts Mmeli and enjoys the love-filled atmosphere. Paired with Trixie, he feels they understand each other well and is embracing the challenge of expressing emotions through the wager tasks, something outside his comfort zone. He described surviving nomination, especially after nominating himself, as motivating.

For Tumi the Barber, the week carries the heaviest emotional load. He struggled with Mshefane’s departure and found it difficult to see others, especially The Don, hurt by Kokii’s eviction. Buhle B’s exit affected him deeply, yet he remains focused on the game. Paired with Liema, the wager is teaching him to create from scratch, and he praised Mmeli as a hands-on leader who treats everyone fairly.

As Love Week unfolds, the housemates are discovering that affection and competition can exist side by side. Grief over evictions is slowly being transformed into renewed determination, and new connections are forming where old ones were broken. In a game where emotions can change overnight, the house now stands in delicate balance: healing from loss while opening the door to fresh bonds and unexpected alliances.
