Yes people! The day has come when we finally get to see Ali Kiba on stage. Allow me to say this without being judged, but I've never been to a concert where the Tanzanian hunk has performed, so thank you in advance Koroga Festival!
I guess we all know who Ali Kiba is, and we won't need a long description of his work other than saying that he's the most talented Bongo artist to grace East Africa. With his recent hit songs such as 'Mwana' and 'Cheketua' it's no doubt that Kenya deserves many more performances from this versatile musician.
This epic musical fare is going down this weekend (November 15th) at the arboretum gardens, and Ali Kiba will be joined on stage by local giants Kidum and Atemi.
Organised by the Capital FM team, the Koroga Festival has inspired musical talent from all over Africa, with notable performances from iconic artists like Senegalese' Baaba Maal, South Africa's Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Mi Casa Music as well as Congolese rumba musician Papa Wemba.
Local talent has also been showcased with recent songstress Mayonde and Suzanna Owiyo, Webi and sweethearts Sauti Sol leading the way to great homegrown entertainment.
Save the date for the 9th edition of Koroga Festival because it's going to be a ball! Advance tickets are KSh 1,500 on Ticket SASA and KSh 2,000 at the gate.
