John Kiarie, otherwise known as K.J. has lived through harrowing experiences since a tender age. He survived the loss of his mother at a tender age.

John has always been an activist, and the son of a local politician aligned with the opposition of the day. His gift of the arts began at a very tender age, as he grew in suffering and poverty he remained creative, optimistic and very positive in life: he kept smiling. Beginning his school life at Kileleshwa Primary school, he had challenges speaking Swahili as he only spoke is vernacular Kikuyu. this did not deter K.J

K.J became a cartoonist of note in high school and later in the media after he graduated school. As a Student at Kenyatta University K.J studied Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and participated in drama and acting.

A finalist of the Kenyatta University Talent Star Search, K.J and his friends were catapulted to fame when he and his friends coined the first political satire comedy show - Redykulass and the rest, is history.

Now an ardent politician, John Kiarie is a force to reckon with, a passionate patriot of Kenya and indeed, an exceptionally accomplished Kenyan!
