Charles J Ouda has been in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. His acting career began at the Kenya National Theatre, where he featured in the famous show, Lwanda, Man of Stone by Eric Wainaina.

Following this, he performed in six more musicals with Sterling Quality Entertainment Company Limited and worked extensively with The Phoenix Players Kenya.

Here are some of his notable achievements:

• He has starred in eight plays as a lead character
• Besides directing two shows, he has hosted two cabarets
• He completed a two-year conservatory program at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York
• Over the years, he has played lead roles in several of Kenya's most acclaimed television series, including Better Days, Makutano Junction, Groove Theory, Quantico, Crime and Justice, and many more.
• In addition, he has been nominated twice for the Kenya Theatre Awards
