Your votes, did it! Maisha Magic East and Plus TV series Njoro wa Uba won big at the ninth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards! The award ceremony was held on Saturday 20 May 2023 in Lagos, Nigeria and brought together some of the biggest stars on the African continent, in an epic celebration of television and cinema.

Njoro wa Uba was nominated for 'Best Original Comedy' alongside shows including Flatmates, The Johnsons, My Siblings and I, Co-Habits, RSM, Uncle Limbani, Mussulando, Popi and The Return Of Original Comedy in this public-voting category and won, thanks to your votes.

The show lead, Joe Kinyua (Njoro), and the producers of the show Eve D’Souza and Lucy Mwangi took to social media to thank the fans for watching and voting for the show:
