This July Maisha Magic East has an exciting entertainment line-up that is made up of captivating dramas, comedies that will make you laugh out loud, and interesting documentary series. 

Here are some of new shows that that will premiere this July:

Chozi premieres on Sunday 11 July at 8 pm

This docu-drama features real-life stories of people who have gone through tragic moments in their lives. The stories are re-enacted by fictional characters to give the viewer a dramatic perspective. Be sure to catch it when it premieres.

Sol Family premieres on Sunday 11 July at 7:30 pm

This much-loved reality show returns to your favourite channel with a bang! Sol Family will give you a view of what happens behind the scenes of the award-winning Kenyan music band Sauti Sol. The show also gives you an in-depth look into the members of the band. If you missed the first season, here’s a highlight of one of the episodes.

Yes I Do Premieres on Saturday 3 July at 7:30 pm

We all enjoy love stories, right? Yes I Do gives you a front-row seat into the intimate lives of real couples as they plan for their big day. Be sure not to miss any weddings.

Other shows that launched recently

  • Kijakazi follows the story of Lena, a house help on a mission to avenge her mother. Catch it every Tuesday at 7:30 pm.
  • Tehanani is a drama about two stepbrothers who are put on a warpath after their father bequeathed everything to one son. This action creates hatred, blackmail, betrayal, and greed. Follow this story every Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
  • Aziza is a story about a lady who wants one wish: to become a famous singer. However, one night her dream falls apart and she has to choose between the family and the man she loves. Follow her story every Monday to Friday at 9:30 pm.
