Sultan Manoa Salim, the 55-year-old ruler of Pate, inherited the throne from his late father despite never meeting or knowing his mother. He is ruthless and scheming, yet he can also be very sadistic and harsh.

He is an Omani-Kenyan descendant who, like his father, aspires to be the sole Sultan of the islands surrounding Pate. He studied business in an Arab country college but never finished the course since he had to take over the reins after his father’s untimely death.

Sultan Manoa is in a good physical condition. He is tall with brown skin, black hair, and black eyes. He has fought in numerous wars for his island.

His first wife, with whom he shares one child, Musa, passed away. After she died, he married Chiku. But what neither of his wives knew is that he has a son out of wedlock…Sultan Manoa’s best friend is his advisor, Wakala.
