There are many things we loved about Harry and Veronica’s gorgeous garden wedding on this week’s episode of Our Perfect Wedding: Kenya. From the location, down to the finer details (hello, shoes), it was all perfect! But before we get into all of that, let’s find out more about our happy couple.
Harrison and Veronica’s love story
Harry first spotted Veronica at a church event hosted at the Kenya Cinema. Veronica didn't notice him – and doesn't even remember ever seeing him that day. Harry later learnt that Veronica was his spiritual mentor/pastor's sister – and his dreams of ever approaching her dwindled. Why? He felt like that would be too much pressure and expectation for his liking.
Fast-forward to 2018, when Harry finally asked Veronica out on a date and the two quickly bonded over the fact that they had lost their jobs and were broke. Egged on by their new circumstance, Harry and Veronica decided to create a printing and branding company. Their second date actually saw the two lovebirds in River Road, sourcing t-shirts for their business. Romantic!
Getting Hitched
These are some of our favourite things about Harrison and Veronica’s wedding.
The Wedding Garb
We really enjoyed looking at the bride and groom, as well as their bridal party. Navy blue was the colour of choice for the gents – and white and gold for the bride and her bridesmaids.
The Décor
Our couple kept it simple for their garden wedding – white, with a hearty helping of yellow and white roses.
The Vibe
There was lots and lots of dancing at this wedding. Our bride and groom definitely had a good time (as they should on their special day) and so did their bridal party, family and friends.
