As the continent prepares for the arrival of the Head of the Catholic Church, H.H. Pope Francis VI on 25 November 2015, East Africa is particularly proud to be hosting the Pontiff in Nairobi,Kenya and Kampala, Uganda.
According to reports, he is scheduled to meet with Heads of State, Government diginitaries and Heads of the Church regionally.
The highlight of his tour will be his meeting with top United Nations officials to discuss Climate Change. Pope Francis is also scheduled to officiate a Holy Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Kangemi which is a semi-rural/low income area on the outskirts of Nairobi. This just sheds light on the Pontiff's true intent which is to show charity, solidarity and acceptance to all classes.
