Lynn is a bride who knows what she wants and goes for it. When she first watched the Cinderella movie, she immediately told herself one day she would wear a Cinderella gown on her wedding - and she did.
Lynn and Chris met in the SGR while en-route from Mombasa to Nairobi. An hour to their destination, Chris borrowed her power bank to charge his phone thus drawing her attention from the other guy she had been talking to. As they were leaving the SGR, Chris courteously returned her power bank and politely asked for her number so that they could talk more about business; a conversation they had been having minutes before they got to their destination.
They began chatting but lost touch after some time. Triggered by Chris WhatsApp status about a couple of months on, she initiated a small talk to find out how he was doing and then later re-visited their long over-due date which this time around, they were fortunate enough to schedule and link up.
The date was okay, although Lynn revealed that she got bored at some point following the fact that Chris kept on quoting lots of Bible verses. However, when Lynn shared her date experience with her mother, she advised her that that was he was a keeper!
After a while, Lynn realized Chris’s love and concern for her was genuine and consisted and decided to be more intentional.
True to her word, Lynn went for a Cindrella dress while the groom wore a grey merino-wool suit, a light pink shirt, blue tie, and brown shoes. The bridesmaids wore soft dresses.
The couples showstopper was their cake. It was made by Lynn's mother and comprised of a tree with 9 fruits - each representing the fruits of the holy spirit - namely love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, and self-control.
