𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟬 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭. For 13 years and, together with its generous partners and donors, the Carte Blanche Making a Difference Trust has managed to make light work of building and capacitating critical care facilities for children in 11 state hospitals in South Africa. Through this process, thousands of young lives in the country have been assisted. Now, the Trust has embarked on yet another ambitious project by adding a brand new Lower-High Care Unit at the Sebokeng Regional Hospital in Gauteng – once again making a difference in those families living in a struggling community.

Ngwelezana & Sebokeng: A Matter of Care

Having recently completed a Paediatric Burns Outpatient Department at Ngwelezana Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal, the Carte Blanche Making a Difference (MAD) Trust stepped in to create a first-of-its-kind children’s trauma facility in its third project at Sebokeng Regional Hospital in Gauteng.

Ngwelezana Hospital - Paediatric Burns Unit

Thanks once again to a major donation of over R14.3 million from South32’s Richards Bay Hillside Aluminium, CBMADT has been able to once again support the young burns patients at Ngwelezana Hospital in KwaZulu-Natal. A vacant lot alongside the Paediatric Burns Inpatient Unit has been used to construct the dedicated Paediatric Burns Outpatient Department. [[link-to:galleries-2573]]
